Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam
Spring Break has been pretty busy! Ashley and her roomie Lindsay flew into Vegas for a little vacation, so since they were on my side of the country I had to drive up and visit! We had a great time checking out Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, the Stratosphere tower, walking around almost all of Vegas and the humungous hotels/casinos and trying to hit it big on the slot machines! I can't forget to mention all of the yummy food we ate too! We also drove down to see the Hoover Dam.
Inside the Encore hotel. Lindsay was working on a project for school, so we walked around inside and found these pretty things hanging from the ceilings.

I thought these statues were pretty neat!
This picture doesn't capture how far up I was... but trust me it was high and it kind of gave me the heebie jeebies!!! It drops straight down and then starts to curve. Yikes!
I couldn't even get the bottom of the dam in because it's so big!!!

i really enjoy the one inside the encore hotel. those laterns are beautiful! i love all those bold colors together. i also really like the one of lake meade. i like how it's a little blurry from the heat. and the rocks are those goregous western rocks full of color.... my favorite!!
i DO have to say, though, miss smith, that i'm more than a little disappointed in the quality of your pictures. i would like to think that after three fantastic friends of yours sent you money FOR cleaning your camera, that you would have had that problem taken care of by now. i hope you didn't spend that money on something else....
Haha I still have my birthday money ready to go to get it cleaned. They won't send them out from Ritz anymore.... I tried.... but I did get the companies info to drive it there myself. It's quite the drive though! :) I'll get it cleaned before you see me next!!!
