Yosemite: Day 2

On our second day we started out visiting Bridalveil Falls. Then we parked the car, checked out the visitor center and took the shuttle to Mirror lake where we hiked for the afternoon. We saw the lake and continued on to hike to the rock slide. After all of that we took the shuttle to Yosemite Falls and were able to take a path right up to the base of the falls. So much to see!

The cute little meadow we passed everyday on our way to the main part of the park.

Yosemite: Day 1

We arrived in the evening, found a campsite, set up camp and then drove into Yosemite Village to look for some ice and food.

Is it just me... or does this deer have a rather dopey look on his face?

My favorite! :)

San Francisco

Since it is summer and because we can... Laura and I decided to go on a portion of our West Coast road trip! We drove to San Francisco for some sight seeing and stayed there for the night, then continued on to Yosemite where we camped for 3 nights and then drove home through Death Valley, Vegas, and the Hoover Dam for quick little visits on our way home. It was a great road trip! Here's the start of it in San Francisco! More will follow!!!
